- I'm a freelance illustrator working in the children's publishing industry. The greatest inspirations for my work are other contemporary children's book and fantasy illustrators as well as the natural world. I particularly enjoy painting happy animals close-up in natural surroundings. I also have a love for all things fantasy and hope to expand my fantasy portfolio in the near future. I currently reside in Texas with my husband, daughter, and our very naughty cat.
