Here's a quick digital painting for this week's Illustration Friday. Cupcakes have become so popular in recent years and you will be too if you take them to work or school.

I believe I suffer from the same malady. I wouldn't turn down a cupcake, but cake in general is not my favorite either. The cupcake has certainly joined the owl, fox and mustache as popular subject matter. I am just surprised I haven't seen a big-eyed girl with an oversized cupcake on her head (tho I'm sure they exist!)
It's a lovely cupcake and I really like the colors.

Cupcakes are super popular. I live with in three miles of two different "Cupcakeries".
