I opened my Bristol pad today and stumbled across these little guys. I think they are drawn from photos from either Ranger Rick or Your Big Backyard:

Phyllis: Texas, United States; I'm a freelance illustrator working in the children's publishing industry. The greatest inspirations for my work are other contemporary children's book and fantasy illustrators as well as the natural world. I particularly enjoy painting happy animals close-up in natural surroundings. I also have a love for all things fantasy and hope to expand my fantasy portfolio in the near future. I currently reside in Texas with my husband, daughter, and our very naughty cat.
